About the Author
George Junghanns, Ph.D., is probably the most versatile, least-known writer in America today. His writings are in depth, and range from astrophysics cosmology to social criticism. Consistent with this variety, he spends his time between the Adirondack Wilderness, and his publication location in Franklin, MA, as the publisher of GAUNTLET Books.
Also consistent with his versatility, he’s an accomplished artist. His work BIGFOOT and the WILDERNESS ARTIST was derived from an extended experience while he was off the beaten-track in a remote location.
As continued evidence of his claim to be "America's most versatile - least read writer." THE HOLY WARS is offered. It took years in the making. The hope was to bring a long overdue recognition to the public, and the problem was the mass of documentation he had developed through his research.
Religious terrorism, exemplified by the 9/11 disaster brought the most essential elements into focus. To state it simply, religions blew their chance to modernize during the Age of Enlightenment, when their answer to Halley's comet was a cover-up, instead of an admission that here was the Angel Gabriel, and earlier the sponsor of Moses' Exodus.
In truth, the comet's existence was subliminal, which the ecclesiastics of the 18th century, Gibbon, Bayle, and others built on by eliminating the fact that its apparitions coincide with the great religious events of the past.
Everywhere, the symbolic character of the comet has led to war. But that its ancient character still remained in the present was what 9/11 really asserted, making a Time-Travel approach to the story a most realistic possibility, as can be seen in the following excerpt:
